As part of this year’s NGS-CN Autumn School, the Core Facility of the WGGC Bonn will host a hands-on training on microbiome NGS on September 28th-30th. Participation is limited to 8 early stage researchers, you can apply here BEFORE September 5th. Selected participants will be able to analyze stool or purified DNA samples of their own project. Training includes:
• DNA extraction from stool samples
• Library prep and QC
• Short read sequencing
• Downstream analysis for 16S rRNA metagenomics data
The hands-on training is free of charge, accommodation as well as lunch and coffee breaks will be provided by the NGS-CN. Selected participants will have to organize and pay their travel to Bonn.
