The Next Generation Sequencing Competence Network is organizing the summer school titled “Understanding Next Generation Sequencing from molecule to output data” from September 13-15th, 2021, tailored for MSc and PhD students with planned or ongoing NGS-related projects.

The summer school will cover different aspects of Next Generation Sequencing including lectures on experimental design and statistical analysis, long read sequencing and data analysis. The program includes a practical demo session on Oxford Nanopore long reads sequencing and Bioinformatics analysis.

Pandemic allowing, it will be organized in person with 10 participants at  Schloss Mickeln at the Heine Heinrich University in Düsseldorf, Germany.
